Apps is pleased to announce the signings of Simon Flanz and Scott Johnson, both from Zamaretto League club Soham Town Rangers.

Simon is a utility player, rejoining the club after six seasons away. He was part of the Ridgeons League Championship-winning Soham team of 2007-08. He made 32 appearances last season, 26 of them in the League.

Scott is a left-sided full-back, again rejoining the Fenmen after a six season absence. He was also has a winner's medal from the Green's championship triumph. He appeared 45 times last season, 38 in the League.

The club is lucky enough to have plenty of excellent young players and Apps feels that these quality singings will bring some much needed experience and a winning mentality to the side. With the unfortunate loss of several players, a couple of them somewhat unexpectedly, those who have come in are as good, if not better, than the players they are replacing.

Looks like its gone full circle and your now signing everyone back from us - Only a few more to go!!
Shame to see both leave, but should do well for you.

Just also wanted to wish Furns all the best back at Wisbech...He's been a fantastic player whilst with Soham and a real shame to see him go.

The number of ex-Fenmen at the Lane is getting less by the year - Whose next? Scott Carter, Tom Benjamin or Andy Coleman?
