It has been a while since the Supporters Club mentioned anything on the forum, so I'd like to take a moment of your time, if I may.
In the next couple of weeks, The Supporters Club will be arranging an 'open meeting' which will give everyone the opportunity to come along and show their interest / ask questions. Wisbech Town FC has a 'new start feeling' with the new ground. I'd certainly like to see more people becoming actively involved in the Supporters Club, including some younger members.
With the new clubhouse, we have the opportunity to arrange various social events to really support the club. It's a lot easier to get to Lynn Road than it was to Outwell, so I hope to see a good turn-out!
This isn't about egos or name badges. It's about being part of a club, within a club. The Supporters Club raises money through things like the 'footy card' that we do at every home game (for a £1 stake, you can win £10 which is a lot better odds than the National Lottery!)
Come along and join us for the meeting, the more the merrier. Details of current & future Supporters Club membership will be made at the 'open meeting' and we will discuss the Supporters Club role in WTFC.

Hi John,
I hope all details of what is going on can be put on the Forum as with living 2000 miles away it would be good to know what is going on even though it would be difficult for me to get to meetings ! ! ! ! !
I am hoping to make the pilgrimage to the first match at the new ground on 7th August and hand over my membership whatever that may be so any info would be appreciated.

We will arrange it in the next couple of weeks, and all details will be finalised then...but I would expect it to be held at the new ground.

Is it my imagination, or have the dates gone strange on here? There are postings on for 21st July at 22.02, and in other topics for 22nd July. Surely it's only now 18.28 on 21st? Has that Aussie bloke brought some strange dates with him?

Hi folks - a no brainer for me would be to have the meeting after the first match, especially as some of us have to travel a fair distance to get there. Second best time/day for me would be a friday evening.
I'm looking forwards to renewing my subs and wearing my WTFC shirt already!

I meant to join the supporters club every time I came to a game last season but I always forgot the money. I will join at the first game at the new ground and I will remember the money this time.

Im definatly joining up, after being away from the town for the last 10 years I have lost touch with things at the club to be honest but now Im back will be 100% behind the fenman again.

Membership will run from August 1st 2010 to July 31st 2011. Existing members will need to renew for the coming season.
