| for example every u11 that comes to the game gets a free raffle ticket that can be drawn at Half time the kid with the winning ticket gets to be the mascot for the next home game. Anyone that attends the FA cup game can get into the next home game for half price either do this by returning tickets or a voucher in the matchday programme, just a few ideas of many they might not be to everyones liking but could possibly improve attendance. And it covers the whole age range of our supporters which is important. |

A couple of great ideas. Hopefully 'someone' will be reading this and taking note!

Thanks Key2, I can understand what spenny said about everyones attention at the club being focused on getting the new ground ready, but surely they have some people not involved in it on the PR side of things to try and make it as eventfull as possible. Id of thought by now there would of been posters around the town or flyers distributed you know something along those lines.

There was an 8-page pull-out in the Fenland Citizen that got delivered to practically every house in Wisbech and surrounding areas, but a bit more can't hurt.

been trying to spread the word myself just get laughed at most of the time why will everyone pay 10 a month to watch there favorite team on the telly. rather than for a measly £6 get to go watch their local team meet some local people have a good chat and a laugh i hope the new ground brings back that spirit i remember when i was younger from my house hearing the crowds cheering from fenland park think the opening of the ground may come at the wrong time with the holidays and that some people i've spoke to thought the new ground was allready open as a dj i will put my name forward for any fuctions that are going on.

Yeah exactly mate and there was a perfect opportunity to advertise some offers for fans or give the community an idea of some of the stuff that they could of had planned. It was a good spread but again they could of made it more appealing to a person who has never been to watch WTFC and make them think that it may be worth going to watch them. I may seem like a moaning git but just want to see the club back to how it use to be and even better.
