Wisbech have been been handed a couple of tough draws in the early stages of the national cup competitions.
A trip to local rivals Ely City in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup sponsored by E.ON is certainly going to be a difficult game, with a trip to Needham Market or Felixstowe & Walton Utd to follow for one of the teams. The game against Ely is on Saturday 15th August.
Slightly kinder was a home draw against UCL side Northampton Spencer in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Carlsberg Vase, but as the winners are at home to Gorleston or Wroxham in the First Round Proper, further progress will not be easy. Northampton Spencer visit The Nest on Saturday 19th September.
