Two goals from Chris Bacon weren't enough to overcome a strong Cambridge City side at Milton Road and it is they who progress to the final of the Cambs Invitation Cup (sponsored by Ridgeons) to face holders Ely City.
The first of Bacon's goals was a stunning 30-yard strike on 31 minutes after he robbed a defender, with the second on 76 minutes from an Adam Millson cutback.
Craig Hammond scored twice for City, the second from the penalty spot, with the winning goal coming in the 89th minute through substitute Adam Marriott.
Callum Reed suffered a calf injury early in the game and was replaced by Adam Millson.
